Well I've been in Melbourne for almost 2 weeks now, and it's definitely a beautiful city.  I've taken trains to the outlying suburbs for parties (the urban sprawl here is really something else).  I've taken a ferry to Williamstown, which was the original port for Victoria.  I've watched the Australian Open in Federation Square, on a big TV, while sitting outside drinking beers with a few people.  I've gone on long walking tours (non-organized of course) of the city, and probably seen almost as much of the city as I know of Toronto.  I've gone up the Rialto Tower, which is the tallest building in Melbourne (although only about half as high as the CN Tower).  There's an observation deck near the top that you can see a 360 degree view of the city, and it was just amazing.  Unfortunately, I don't have any photos, half the time I forget to bring my camera around with me, and when I do, I don't really see anything that I would consider photo worthy.

I've spent some time searching for jobs, but so far I haven't had much chance finding anything.  To be honest, I've only made a half-hearted effort.  I'm actually thinking of just puttering around for a bit longer, then head home before I'm digging myself into debt.  As for when this would actually happen - you'll all know when I get home :>
